Brilliant hotel and wonderful experience.
In house dining was lovely.
Staff were incredible. So friendly and polite.
Room was nice, defo one of their newer ones and very sweetly decorated.
Air con was a very nice bonus on the hot days, water pressure was brilliant.
Very happy with our stay here!
We've visited minehead multiple times as its closer for us but we decided to travel abit further (4hr 30m drive) to try bognor regis resort for a change, best decision we made! We got the holiday half the price we'd have paid for minehead with dining included so was a fab bargain, arrived to friendly reception staff, and checked in quickly with no issues, we were on the first floor. The hotel we have mixed feelings about but it wouldn't stop us from staying again, as we've already booked again for 6 months time. But feedback may help so here goes -
• Room was lovely! An interactive wall in the room which kept the kids happy and amused. A safe, a fridge, ironing board and iron with plenty of storage space was handy. A TV in main room aswell as the kids bunk room was fab too. The little night light in the bunk room was a great touch. The theme throughout the hotel is also pretty cool! The hotel itself is kept very clean throughout, apart from the outside patio areas on the rooms, there were litter picking staff on our first day stay yet none of the cigarette ends were picked up which meant we couldn't let the kids out there as our 2 year old had tried to pick them up, its littered with them.
We had been told there was an issue with the air con, which meant no matter what temp we'd set the heating on it was blowing cold air and even though we'd turn it off it'd automatically turn back on after about 2 minutes.
The in-hotel dining was fab, we had come down for breakfast at opening time one day and mid breakfast time another day and both times there was plenty of food and a good choice, the kids absolutely loved breakfast and dinner time with the buffet style all you can eat, definitely worth the money you pay for dining, they have themed nights but additional foods that aren't within the theme so plenty of choice, a salad bar with plenty of choice, plenty of deserts to choose from although they were the same every night which would have been nice to have different each night, and an ice-cream machine you can help yourself on (the kids loved this!) The food itself was fantastic!
I HAVE to say ... the dining staff member LIZ is an absolute credit to the hotel, she really makes you feel welcomed, interacts well with the kids too, giving them high fives, asking how your days been, thanks you as you're leaving, the ONLY staff member that does this. However all restaurant staff were fab in their own way from politeness to officinatly removing finished plates from the table.
The location of the hotel is perfect, right beside the pavilion and multiple eateries, aswell as having the beach right infront of you, and the splash resort across the way.
We attended on tots week, and unfortunately someone that clearly can't go without weed for afew days decided to stink out the whole hallway from having / smoking it in their room, not the hotel or staffs fault as they couldn't pin point which room til they'd entered the rooms for housekeeping.
All in all we loved our stay and look forward to returning again soon.
The hotel is a mixed bag. The main areas are tired and are in desperate need of maintenance. Being on floor 3, we found ourselves without any working lifts by the end of our stay. Not ideal when you have a baby in a pushchair. The room was great though and the kids absolutely loved the activity wall and sleeping area.
Having previously stayed in the lodges at Butlins, I much prefer this hotel. The rooms are clean and kept in much better working condition than the lodges. The location is SO much better for walking the kids out to the main attractions and it also negates the need for 'trolley runs' to and from the car park upon arrival and departure. The staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.
Husband, Kids and I, loved the hotel and our room.
Staff lovely. Friendly & helpful.
Lift buttons broke on one lift, ended up working on floors 1 and 4 only. Second lift stopped working altogether.
Other than the lift issue, no other issues.
Iron & ironing board in the room. Beautiful sea view. Mattress comfortable.
Our little one called it his butlins home lol. TV in main room and kids room.
Fairly basic hotel, but clean and tight. Friendly staff and great location for Butlin’s centre stage, pavilion and reds.
Was on a big weekender and stayed here. The room was a good size, comfortable bed, nice view of the sea, and had adjustable heating.
I had the best time here ..the staff greeted us on arrival .. the restaurant manager big tall gentleman should be recognised for his excellence I think his name was Simon oh I hope I got it right because I wrote his name down and i can't …
Love this hotel, the sea view rooms give a excellent view. The rooms are modern and perfect for a seaside hotel. The members of staff are friendly and provide excellent service. Cannot fault highly recommend.
Needs a good clean and an update. Staff very friendly. Well located within butlins but what you make up in location isn't matched it room quality
